چکیده

Flexible alternating current transmission system (FACTS) controllers are important to enhance the quality of power in systems. The stability a is achieved via FACTS device (a Static Synchronous Compensator (STATCOM)). This paper aims control losses during peak energy demand circumstances with minimal economical and functional efficiency system. STATCOM operation seven level voltage source converter (VSC) binary-weighted transformers proposed for controlling reactive variations terminal changes at dynamic operated 132 kV 50 Hz AC single DC-Link capacitance two VSC circuits. Each circuit consists three H-bridges specific switching angle order achieve low total harmonic distortion fundamental frequency. coupled phenomenon imperative computing stable performance. improvement harvested minimum number switches used high high-power applications. switches, transformers, capacitors optimized transformers. simulated results prove that model significantly improved performance stability.
